The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) announced the Military Star Challenge Cup winners for the third quarter of fiscal 2024.
The results were calculated using the average of each Exchange’s year-over-year percentage change in both new card member acquisitions and card usage.
“We love seeing this good-natured competition among our stores and regions,” said Exchange Credit Program Senior Vice President (SVP) Tommy Ward.
“The Challenge Cup contest is a fun and unique way to encourage our stores and reward them for the incredible work they do in sharing the Military Star benefits with their communities,” Ward noted.
WINNERS
The Exchange announced that the Pacific Region was the third quarter leader in the competition.
Regional store winners were:
- Western: Fort Wainwright, Alaska
- Central: Selfridge ANGB, Mich.
- Eastern: Carlisle Barracks, Pa.
- Europe: Spangdahlem Consolidated, Germany
- Pacific: Andersen AFB, Guam
Quarterly winners in each region win $500 for a team event. The top store for all of Fiscal 2024 will receive a $1,000 prize and the coveted Challenge Cup. The leading region for the year will also be presented with a trophy.
The winners of the year-long contest will be announced at the Retail, Food and Services Managers Conference later this year.
