After the completion of a multi-million-dollar renovation project, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) reopened the Express here on July 30.
The Express added expanded parking as part of its renovation.
Among those addressing shoppers in attendance during the reopening were U.S. Air Force Col. Jesse Lamarand, 5th Bomb Wing commander, and U.S. Air Force Col. James Schlabach, 91st Missile Wing commander.
The newly renovated Express operates in the very busy retail area of the base, as AAFES serves 42,000 military shoppers each year at the location, a site which operates in the northwestern part of North Dakota.
Customers received complimentary gift bags as part of the reopening (see photo).
