• CAMP ZAMA, Japan
On Jan. 30, Soldiers and families at the installation here were given another option for grabbing “a slice of home” with the opening of a second on-base Hunt Brothers Pizza eatery, located in the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s (AAFES) Zama Express.
The Hunt Brothers location — the fourth Hunt Brothers location on mainland Japan — replaced the Exchange’s on-house pizza brand, Anthony’s Pizza, which closed in September.
“The Camp Zama Exchange is excited to bring another food option on base that will offer more variety during the breakfast, lunch and dinner rushes,” said Camp Zama Exchange General Manager (GM) Nick Cucinello. “Hunt Brothers Pizza provides Soldiers and their families at Camp Zama a conveniently located grab-and-go option.”
Anyone can dine at Hunt Brothers Pizza and all Exchange restaurants, including civilians and visitors. Dining at Exchange restaurants and shopping Exchange stores helps make the military community stronger, as 100 percent of Exchange earnings are reinvested in the military community through support for on-base quality-of-life programs and capital improvements, like the addition of Hunt Brothers Pizza.
