“Good morning.

“Your mission, if you should decide to accept it, is to bring a Hostess Fresh Bread Program to the Defense Commissary Agency, Mr. Darrell Clary

“This request will self-destruct in five seconds.”

Less than nine months ago, Adrienne Brown Regional Sales Manager – South, The J.M. Smucker Company (JMS) and Nick Petsos, senior vice president (SVP) of Acosta Group, were challenged with that bold request.

Today, Adrienne Brown reported — mission accomplished.

“Thanks to the relentless drive, creative execution, and unwavering determination of Tia Cable Delve of Acosta Military, in close partnership with Adrienne Brown of JMS, they have delivered a major league win for military patrons and their families.”

REACHING THE GOAL

Brown noted that this success didn’t come easy.

“It was the result of tireless collaboration, countless conversations with distributor partners, and a shared commitment to making this vision a reality,” he stated.

“Through every twist and turn, Tia and Adrienne never lost momentum — and the results speak for themselves.”

Brown said that the internal teams at JMS, Acosta Military, and DeCA were integral to the reaching of this goal.

“I want to thank them for their agility, responsiveness, and support in navigating the unique challenges along the way,” and it was their “teamwork that made this possible.”

One of the “standout moments” in reaching the goal was “Tia’s innovative idea to leverage Hostess-branded corrugate displays in-store, amplifying merchandising impact alongside the planogram (POG).

“It was a smart, strategic move that brought the program to life in a way that’s both eye-catching and effective.

Petsos added “This is what happens when determination meets innovation. Let’s keep the momentum going!”
