On Saturday, Sept. 14, the EURPAC Patron Event was described as an “incredible success” for all who attended.
The event, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and which drew a steady crowd during its entirety, included participation from the Monster Action Team and the Biofreeze Freeze Team.
The Monster Action Team distributed free products and swag while offering a Monster Energy Surfboard as a raffle prize.
The Biofreeze Freeze team also provided samples and swag while allowing patrons to experience the benefits of Biofreeze in the Biofreeze Booth.
The 400 goodie bags were overflowing with samples from suppliers including ConAgra, Hormel, Bigelow, Ferrero, and many more.
The ESCO and social media teams gave out over $2,000 in commissary gift cards through random raffles and the Commissary Shopper Treasure Hunt program.
THE NUMBERS
Sales figures have also shown improvement from last year.
Comparing sales through last year’s event on Saturday, Sept. 16 sales to sales through this year’s event — with a leap year this year — showed a 47-percent improvement from $71,915 last year to $105,549 this year.
According to Alex Sizemore, senior director of marketing for the EURPAC Marketing, Retail and Logistics Group, the sales lift resulted from “the extra efforts put in by the store personnel and our ESCO retail service team to prepare for the patron event.”
Sizemore thanked Fort Gregg-Adams Commissary Store Director Sean Ferrell, Store Manager Crystal Froias, and Grocery Manager James Puff “for all their support. EURPAC/ESCO could not have asked for a better partnership!”
FINAL PATRON EVENT
The last Patron Event for 2024 will be at Fort Belvoir, Va., on Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will be themed around Halloween.
“We hope you can join the ESCO/EURPAC Team for some spooky fun and excitement during the last EURPAC Patron Event for 2024,” Sizemore said.
