Four AAFES Stores Earn Exchange’s Highest Honor

• DALLAS

Winners of the Director/CEO Cup, the highest honor the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) can bestow on its stores, were announced April 28, as well as those stores earning runners-up mentions.

One Exchange in each size category (small, medium, large and mega) received the award, which goes to the top Exchanges worldwide.

HOW IT WORKS

Region senior vice presidents (SVP) nominated an Exchange in each of the main store categories based on sales volume.

The winners were selected based on evaluation of customer experience, leadership, business results, marketing efforts and community presence.

Winning stores received a prize of $1,500 to $5,000, depending on the size category.

Runners-up received prizes of $750 to $2,500.

“These teams epitomize the Exchange’s commitment to being a true force multiplier for our nation’s military mission,” said Exchange Director/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Tom Shull.

“They go above and beyond to support military recruiting, readiness, retention and lethality, elevating critical quality-of-life support through their steadfast dedication to serving those who serve,” he explained.
