It features a comprehensive discussion by Mr. Rich Honiball, NEXCOM’s EVP, Global Chief Merchandising & Marketing Officer.

Companies with specific questions or topics you’d like us to address, please send them in advance to VendorSupport@nexweb.org so we can come as prepared as possible.

In announcing the event, Honiball said: “Together, we’ve seen the success of our True Blue Deals program — a savings initiative launched just over two years ago when rising fuel prices impacted shopping behavior, Honiball said.  “In 2024 alone, this program saved patrons an additional $5.8 million above and beyond our Everyday Low Prices. “And we are far from done. We are actively seeking new ways to expand these programs — to create meaningful savings moments, new product bundles, military-exclusive offers, and differentiated experiences that reward loyalty and drive connection.”

“We are also expanding our assortment of Military Exclusive brands, products, and pricing bundles — and we want your ideas and partnership to help show our patrons the best of what you have to offer at compelling, demonstrable savings,” Honiball added.

“Looking ahead to Veterans Day 2025, in partnership with our sister exchanges, we want to raise the bar. Not just with recognition for a day or a weekend — but with products, offers, and experiences that reflect our ongoing commitment to those who serve, 24/7, 365. We want this Veterans Day to be different — anchored in exclusivity, value, and pride.”

“During this session, we’ll:

  •        Share learnings from FY2024
  •        Provide an early read on 1Q FY2025 performance
  •        Discuss current challenges and emerging opportunities
  •        Preview our Holiday 2025 campaign, including several exciting new initiatives”

“Despite continued pressures on overall consumer sentiment, what we are seeing — and what we are building — is both encouraging and energizing. We are growing our NEXt Level Rewards membership, strengthening patron engagement, managing our markdown strategy with greater discipline, and executing against key initiatives designed to drive long-term value.”

“Just in 2024 alone, NEXt Level Rewards members represented nearly 75% of total sales across all store formats — and our patrons saved $20.2 million simply through redeemed rewards! That’s real impact.   Even more telling, the percentage of customers shopping the NEX twenty or more times per year grew from 24.8% to 27.7% over the past 12 months — proof that when we deliver real value, frequency and loyalty follow.”

“But this is no time to pause. We all see the challenges out there — and most importantly, so do our patrons. This is exactly why it’s a time to push forward — doubling down on what’s working, leaning into new opportunities, and showing up for those we serve in ways that matter most.”

“Our Anchored in Value campaign — an effort that will carry us through the 250th Birthday of the U.S. Navy this year and our 80th Anniversary next year — continues to resonate. Through creative messaging, expanded marketing channels, and new partnerships, we’re finding fresh ways to connect our value story with patrons. And just as importantly, we’re showcasing those brands that bring their best — their best products, their best experiences, and their best savings — to the Navy.”
