The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) recently celebrated the grand reopening of Burger King after $2.4 million in upgrades.
The renovation features new dual drive-thru lanes, an improved dining room and updated bathrooms.
The Burger King was built in 1988 and has since served nearly 4 million customers.
REACHING THE COMMUNITY
“The reopening gives the community a fresh new place to enjoy their comfort foods,” said Davis-Monthan AFB Exchange Burger King Manager Judy Cuellar. “We hope to reach more of the community with an enhanced seating area and drive-thru.”
The reopening included the Presentation of Colors, a prayer from the chaplain and speeches from 355th Mission Support Group Commander Col. Roger Craig and Exchange General Manager (GM) Hafeeza McCullough.
