John “JD” Fenessy

JD Fenessy is the National Sales Director for Del Monte Foods-Military Division, headquartered in Virginia Beach, Va. he oversees the entire Del Monte Foods Military Division which includes the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM), the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX), the Veterans Canteen Service (VCS), the Coast Guard Exchange Service (CGX), Ships Afloat, Military Food Services as well as Meal, Ready to Eat (MRE) and Unitized Group Ration (UGR) programs.
Mr. Fenessy has more than 30 years of retail grocery experience from developing specific brand strategies to “Go-to-Market” programs that have been expanded to all types of retail channels, national grocery chains, convenience store and mass merchandiser as well as developing military retail channels. Through his experience he has developed key brands like Corona, Corona Light, Lance Snacks, Wisk Detergent, Lawry’s, Hellman’s, Bertolli Food Brands, Dove Personnel Care, Del Monte Brands, Milk Bone, Kibble N Bits, Meow Mix, 9-Lives and Starkist.
