ALA Commissary Council – Store OP’s Committee Chairman
Paul started his grocery career stocking and writing orders for his father’s small brokerage, Commissary Services back in high school. While working on his bachelor’s degree at Old Dominion, Paul was a shelf stocker at Oceana Commissary. A month before he graduated, MDV reached out to him and hired him as an Area Manager in 1987. For 34 years, Paul held a variety of positions to include Buyer, Senior Buyer, Business Manager and Director of Marketing. He has also been involved with the Hampton Roads ALA {HRALA} as the Treasurer for over 30 years. For the last 3 years he has enjoyed working with the Military Resale Small Business Coalition {MRSBC}.
